D.H. BASTA Interior Design Company is an award winning business, created in 2000 by NCIDQ certified interior designer, Deborah Harwood-Basta, CID. Historically, the company has spent much of its focus concentrating on projects from the healthcare, corporate and university sectors, yet we are always interested in new project types.
D.H. BASTA is a participating eVA member and certified Small, Women and Minority-Owned (SWaM) business serving the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our business focuses on supporting the growth and new ventures of our existing clients, while continuing to welcome new clients and new opportunities. Much of the work produced by D.H. BASTA has resulted from returning clients presenting new projects to explore. This alone speaks volumes, as a testimony to the trust and confidence each client places in D.H. The Mission Statement for D. H. BASTA Interior Design calls upon us first and foremost to be active listeners, as we position ourselves to respond to client's data with thoughtful and innovative solutions.
Our goals are reflected in the dedication we invest in fulfilling our client's criteria and objectives by exploring all possible options that may introduce new ways of developing spaces, while ensuring the client's brand is reinforced within all aspects of the design.
While integrating the client's criteria into each design, the design process is further enhanced through the incorporation of collaborative design insight we offer each project, as gained from years of experience within the industry.
Accurately translating the client's image to end-users and potential clients remains a primary focus for D. H. BASTA.
Our designs support and advocate the flow of productivity, where function is optimized, balanced with aesthetically pleasing environments that speak to the senses.
